Ok so I'm going to build a new PC and I have a R9 290 I'm going to get another one for the build and then eventually a 3rd one, I've Ben doing some research trying to find out the best mobo and I've Ben going back and forth regarding PCIe 2.0 and 3.0 and PCIe x 16 but when you run 3 graphics cards it goes to 16X 8x 8x and then some people say it's fine some say it's horrible some say it will bottleneck some say it won't,

and with 3.0 vs 2.0 some say it's fine to run 3X GPUs on 2.0 some say it's only ok to run 1 GPU with 2.0 but not more than 1.

Oh and I'd really like to go with a AMD 9570, but apparently AMD dose not support 3.0 PCIe ports (except in the ASUS saber tooth board that I can't find)

So I'm really mixed up, do I half to go with intel? I'd rather not (just preference) but if I half to I guess I will.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Yes intel is the way to go with LGA2011. And sometimes you have to go extreme:

Go with Intel, you won't regret it. It's faster and better. If you have the money, I'd suggest the Core i5-4690K. BTW PCI-E 2.0 or 3.0 don't really matter, but get 3.0 if you can.
