Can I Use a desktop Computer without plugging it into the internet directly?

I have an older desktop computer maybe 6 years old but I havent used it in a while but the big box, Does it need to be lugged directly into the internet?

if you want to use the internet, it needs to be either plugged into an ethernet cable, or you can get a wifi adapter for it so you can use the internet without an ethernet cable. if you dont want to use the internet at all, then you dont have to, it will still run just fine.

Your question isn't very clear. It sounds like you are asking if the computer will work if it isn't on the internet, but surely that's not what you mean...??
