New Monitor with this Graphics Card?

This is gonna be really short and sweet, and will get right to the point. Will the PowerColor HD7770 1GB Graphics card work with the ASUS MX279H? The first link is the Graphics Card, the second is the monitor.

Yes they will work, the graphics card has a HDMI so does the monitor, just simply connect with a HDMI Cable

As far as I'm aware (please correct me if I'm wrong) there can't be a compatibility issue between GPU and monitor as long as they have a means of connectivity.

Yes, you are completely correct as long as they can connect, either VGA, DVI and HDMI etc. it will work!
