I just installed my new motherboard and well when you do this you need to wipe your hard drive and then install a fresh copy of windows, so, I noticed that my motherboard didn't have an onboard grapgics card and so I plugged in my PCI graphics card and I plugged my monitor into the graphics card and well just as I suspected it didn't work because I'd need to install my drivers from the card. So I can't do that because I do not have access to the desktop of windows, and I can't install m windows without my monitor displaying my windows. I'm in a bit of a pickle

You don't need a driver. Gfx drivers are only for use inside the Windows environment. If your card isn't producing a display, there is another problem. Be sure your monitor is set to the same input as your card's output; DVI, VGA, HDMI... Try a different cable. Does the card need a power connection?

Btw, I presume you meant a PCIe gfx card, not a PCI. They use different slots.

Yes, but they are for the Windows environment. The drivers would do you no good before Windows is installed, anyway. The driver installation pgm only operates in the Windows environment. You should be able to get a display from any card at boot up. If your card does not produce a display at boot, there is something else wrong. Do you have another card to test with?
