z97 installed everything still doesnt find audio device

1. I recommend always installing the drivers from the MoBo and other CD's that came with your hardware 1st and getting a working box with what you bought. Especially with high end sound cards, you often get utilities that are licensed and the codes are on the CD sleeve or embedded on the CD. Once that's working, move onto the upgraded drivers that you d/l.

2. Open the MoBo manual 9assuming om boiard sound) and follow the configuration instructions.

3. If it don't work, rt click on "My Computer" and select Device Mangler (Manager) see if there is a question mark or something for sound.

4. You stuff is new and under warranty. If stuck at this point, call Tech Support.
