I'm using an Asus m51ad-b05.
Bought this PC no longer than 2 months ago.

Problem? I turned on my computer today, went straight to browse the web via chrome and noticed that it was running really slow. I then decided to play a game on Steam instead but it wasn't working, I tried multiple times, but I got nothing. Then I realized none of my applications started upon start up and that no apps were on in the hidden apps section.

I tried restarting and shutting down but it isn't working. I then tried opening multiple apps but most of them weren't working. I don't really know much about PC's, so I don't know what to do. This is my first gaming PC, I use it to only browse the web, watch shows and movies, and plays video games. I run tests on my computer everyday using Kaspersky and Malwarebytes, never have I noticed anything strange pop up. I do sometimes download movies and games via The Pirate Bay, but only from trusted sources such as YIFY. Nothing has ever come up from a download. Also, I have never watched porn on this computer.

The specs of my computer are

Windows 8.1
4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4770S processor with an 8MB L3 cache and 3.1GHz processor speed with Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz.
12GB DDR3 memory
2TB Serial ATA III hard drive (7200 rpm).
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 graphics with 3GB of dedicated video memory.

Pretty much just copied and pasted off from Best Buy's website.
I didn't get the Geek Squad protection plan, now I feel that I should have.

Also, I'm new here so I'm not sure if this thread belongs here, if it doesn't, please move it to the appropriate forum instead, please and thank you.

One more thing that I had forgot to mention, not all websites are working for some reason, luckily this site is. :)
