Hi Everyone I'm currently having seriously frustrating issues. I have my new gaming build built, and there;s a problem. Everytime I install Windows 8, it installs, then when it restarts, it bring the installation up again like it needs to be installed. If I restart without the USB stick in it bring up the windows logo then shuts off eventually before booting and my power light flashes.

System specs:
Case: In Win GT1
Power Supply: Logisys 600w atx
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5GHz
Hard drive:1TB Western Digital Caviar Green
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 7770 1GB
Display: Samsung 4 Series 32' LED TV.
RAM: HyperX Fury Series 8GB DDR3

We know for a fact this hard drive works, as it is the secondary drive from my friends computer. I also made sure it was converted from Dynamic to Basic so that I could even install Windows 8. Any help is greatly appreciated as I am at my wits end after spending almost $600 on this build to not have it running.

Well it could be your power supply for one. Logisys is one of the lowest of the low you can get for power supplies, and usually they don't perform up to the wattage advertised. Have a spare PSU to swap in?

Certainly. I appreciate the help.
Here is the motherboard:
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/970AG45.html#hero-overview

here is the RAM:
http://www.kingston.com/us/hyperx/memory/fury

I have two sticks of the RAM which are 4GB per stick.

In case you need info on the processor I have as well, here it is:
http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUDetail.aspx?id=811&f1=&f2=&f3=&f4=&f5=&f6=&f7=&f8=&f9=&f10=&f11=&f12=

Apparently the motherboard doesn't support 64bit windows from what we can tell, which is odd because my Processor is 64bit. From what I have seen there shouldn't be any compatibility issues but regardless of what I read, could that be the case ?

Thanks for the suggestion. I know how to work on computers, I should have mentioned I went to school for Networking/A-Plus before I went for my bachelors lol. I've formatted this hard drive several times, and even made sure that it is not a dynamic drive as Windows 8 can't install to a dynamic drive, it has to be a simple drive.

What the computer does with Windows 7 is it get's all the way through the installation up to the point where it updates the registry after restarting and then it completely shuts off power wise. But, to even get that far, it has to be Windows 7 32bit.

Well, we just switched power supplies from my computer with my friends. He has a 650 Watt supply and as i said I have a 575 Watt supply. His computer is running just fine. Were attempting to reinstall Windows now with his PSU in my computer if it works then it's just the fact of what was said before, the PSU is running below advertised speed. Which is ok since his system is older. If this fails we will try your UEFI boot suggestion. I have a feeling if it's not the Power Supply though it could be the Motherboard after reading reviews. We'll see though.
