Best USB Wireless Adaptor for Gaming?

I need an adaptor that's good for gaming and needs a long range connection.
(My other adaptor I bought didn't have good enough range so it does need to have amazing range)
Budget: 20-30 Pounds

If you don't have enough rang like me (concrete walls and computer's on a different floor), try a powerline connection, that uses your houses power lines/ cables to run your internet. Definitley fast enough for games, and you can even add another router to the end if you need it for a phone or tablet, a niceish one is about 6 pounds out of your budget though. Cheers
 
There really is no "good" wireless adapter for gaming, all are subject to random interference which games do not tolerate very well.

Generally the best thing you can do to increase reception on a USB device is buy a 15ft long usb extension cable and see if placing it away from the computer helps. Many times people put the USB in the back of a desktop computer they then put under a desk against the wall. It tends to block the signal from all sides pretty much.

The USB devices that have external antenna tend to have a slight bit more range just because the antenna are larger. You still need to place this device where the signal is not being blocked.
