i7 4770k or fx 9370 for gaming/editing

Which one would be better,i am planning on playing games(mostly bf franchise) and doing some app development in future (i am getting java certificate at end of september) and using photoshop and rendering.
I know that i7 is better in single core performance but i heard that fx is good for gaming and running multiple applications but that is not so good in single core performance.

The only thing where an amd 9590 beats the I7 4770k is integer maths. Once you overclock both, the I7 even wins on that. The performance difference varies from mild (heavily threaded) to ridiculously high.
