Hello everyone,

So, I'm thinking should i buy the GTX 660 or the R9 270? My CPU Is i7-2600k and MOBO is Asus P8H67-M PRO And the PSU Is Corsiar CX500 V2. Should i even upgrade, my GPU is GTX 650Ti.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you! -Gameduck

Before upgrading, I would suggest upgrading the PSU first since the CX500 is not quite a quality model. Get a SeaSonic 620w PSU, then upgrade to any GPU you want, including a GTX 780 Ti or R9-290x.

Not too much advantage just from the 650 ti to the 270

Just save up until you can afford a bigger jump imo. Maybe wait until the new nvidia maxwell GPUs arrive later this year

Well, my budget is around ~$300 so I can't really buy new PSU and GPU...

How old is your CX500? I personally wouldn't upgrade it if it's still within warranty.

Well, that's pretty good list, is the GTX 760 Future Proof?

5 months into a 3 year warranty? yeah just keep the CX for now, it's cheap but it's not dangerous. Look for an upgrade towards the end of the warranty period imo.

I don't know what you mean by future proof but right now it's a great card for 1080p gaming with most of the settings cranked right up :)

If you need a decent performance boost, then wait for the GTX 860 to be launched sometime next year. Maxwell GPUs should use less power and provide substantial performance gains.

The 280x has also fallen into your price range.
