My birthday is in October, and I was able to convince my dad to get me a new computer for gaming. Anything would be better than my current one - a stock Dell Dimension 4600 - and he locked it down to one of these two rigs:

CyberpowerPC GUA880

and

CyberpowerPC GUA250

Granted my dad has been known to surprise me. Either way, I plan on upgrading the CPU to an FX-8350 'round Christmas time. My main problem is the GPU. I'm not the kind of gamer that requires max setting with 4x AA at 2550x1440, I'd be perfectly happy with medium settings and a decent framerate.

The kind of games I plan to play are:
- Skyrim
- The Walking Dead
- Sims 3
- Spore
- Assassin's Creed
- Mount&Blade
- And several others of that nature

I also plan on reinstalling Ableton Live and Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, but those are just things I'll use occasionally.

Like I said above, my main problem is the GPU, however, if you guys have any better recommendations for any other parts I'll be glad to hear them.

None of those is that good for 600$. If I were you I would buy the first one and a dedicated GPU to put inside. It's better to spend the money on that dedicated GPU than in a FX8350. For the price of a 8350 you can maybe get a R9 270
