What would be the ideal workstation for Adobe CC 2014, with a specific focus on Premiere Pro and After Effects, within the budget of £3,500 ($6000) that will provide the smoothest performance and the fastest ender times?

I am open to PC or Mac, which ever you guys feel is best suited to the job!

Yes, I can get a base spec 6-core Mac Pro with one or two extras for the price. Would that be your suggestion?
