The apple god has declared that you do not need that feature so you are mistaken in asking how to do it. :)

Apple does not support WDS so most repeaters are tough to get to work and they do not release the information that would be required so you could use a USB cable to tether the phone to a router.

You need a special repeater that can connect to the hotspot in client-bridge mode but not use WDS. to connect multiple devices behind it the device must run as a router and nat the ip. There is no way to get it to run in true bridge mode with the hotspot assigning the IP. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are made by engenius for outdoor use. They make indoor ones and I suspect they have a similar feature. The...

There is no way to get it to run in true bridge mode with the hotspot assigning the IP. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are made by engenius for outdoor use. They make indoor ones and I suspect they have a similar feature. The key is to get a device that can run in router mode with a client-bridge connection to the hotspot. You might be able to but what is called a media bridge which is a simple form of client-bridge and then hook it to the want port of our router.

Your only other way is to use ICS or something in your PC to act as the bridge between the hotspot and your current router.

You might be able to get dd-wrt to work but the discussion I saw on talked about using one radio to talk to the hotspot and the other to talk to the clients and placing the router function between. It was not on apple but was the same WDS issue. Never did see if they got it to work. This means though that either the hotspot or the end clients MUST run on 5g.
