Hi there,

Do anyone know whether this PSU can hold this card or not? I chunk it in the motherboard but it does not have video output to the monitor. However the power light and fans are on so there is power through the card (I use 6+2 pins and 6 pins cables). Now I can only use my onboard graphics. Anyone plz help!!!!!!

RealHardTech say a PC with an R9 280x needs 600W. But they allow headroom for eg crappy power supplies. And the Seasonic certainly is not a crappy power supply. So go for it!

go into the bios and switch the order for initialization of the graphics cards, (should be somewhere in integrated peripherals) and set pci ex first.

I tried many times, but the setting will change back to "auto", seems can't detect the card. ToT

Read your motherboard manual.

if it reverts it means it can't start up the card:
one of the following:
- you need a bios update before it will work (look for an update on the motherboard page)
- not seated properly (either in the port or power connectors)
- worse case: bad card or motherboard slot
