Hi,
I'm going to make a HDMI to Mini HDMI cable for a self contained project. The task of wiring HDMI to mini HDMI is obviously not an easy one, however, I have a question which I cannot seem to find an answer to.
Does the TMDS data + signal wire on the HDMI end, go to the data + signal connection on the mini HDMI end, or does it go to the data - signal?
So, for example-
HDMI cable end - Pin 1 is TMDS data 2+
mini HDMI cable end is Pin 2 TMDS data 2+
Do these connect to each other?
Or does the HDMI data 2+ connect to the mini HDMI TMDS Data 2- ?
In other words, does it crossover, like Serial RX/TX?

Your help is greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Chris

Because the cable has to be less than 20cm long and the connectors on shop bought cables are so bulky that the enclosure will never fit in.
Like I said. This is for a project, essentially to connect a MicroITX board to a 7inch Touch Screen which will be held as one unit. The MicroITX also has a displayport but the screen doesn't. So, I have no choice but to use the HDMI port.

Thanks,

Chris.
