Hi, i just rebuilt my computer as i just got my motherboard back from RMA (MSI Z87 GD-65) but when i put my Graphics cards in ( two GTX 770 4GB Each) the fans just run at 100% and i get no video etc. Now the BIOS has a function so you can see what is plugged in and its saying that there is nothing in the PCI-E 16x Lanes. So i disabled the iGPU and it did not work, Reset CMOS still nothing and a whole list of thing still to no pro-vale.

I know both GPUs work as i put them in another computer and they work fine, Yes i tried only having one at a time and switching them about. I cant install the drivers as the PC does not see the GPUs. Also the 8pin and 6pin cables are plugged in.

The PSU works as i have another one and i jumped the 24pin and plug the 8pin and 6pin from that one in to the GPU and it still did not work.

SPECS:

CPU: i5 4670k 4.6Ghz
MOBO: MSI Z87 GD-65
GPUS: MSI GeForce GTX 770 4GB in sli
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB
PSU: Corsair RM1000

Is the bios updated?
Is it possible to try another card apart from the 770s since they are both identical?
If and a third card is not working i assume the pci express slots are dead.

Ok then another gpu should be tested to the pci express slots to verify that they are dead or working.

well kind of rma repair was that from MSI?
Two options
a) Ask from MSI to give you a new motherboard but not the same.
b) Buy another motherboard.

gommerspider, I'm just going to buy a new motherboard as it took 1 month to get a broken motherboard back, so i'm not going to bother again.

what i mean is if you plan to have 2 gpu at the same time you should have taken your desktop to the computer shop so you wont be having problems anyway i would be glad to have one of your gpu if you will not use it anymore :3

Hey man I had the same problem with my graphics card and I took it to a computer expert and he got it working for me. I think the problem with mine was that it wasn't pushed in enough. Check and see if it's pushed in all the way.
