I'm going to be travelling for 8 hours with my computer, it's going to be in the NZXT Phantom 530 box that the case came in, with 2 big pieces of styro-foam holding it in place inside the box. My specs are in my sig. I've never traveled with this computer, so I'm a bit nervous. I've traveled with my old desktop before, but never one big as the Phantom 530. I think I may be worrying too much. The computer will be laying with motherboard horizontally inside a box with styrofoam.

Solution
When I travel I always remove my video card and CPU cooler so they aren't pulling on the motherboard. Honestly I have no idea if its necessary, but for the effort involved why wouldn't you be cautious?

Just make sure you have a safe place to keep your video card. I keep the original packaging.
