Hello.
I received a gaming computer for my birthday back in April. When I am playing games (Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, Unturned), after an amount of time the computer will freeze and I am forced to manually shut down the computer. On a few occassions I have been taken to a blue screen with the error message CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT.
PC Info:
OS - Windows 8.1
Processor - AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD graphics 3.80GHz
Installed RAM - 8.00GB (7.42 GB usable)
System type - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Any help would be greatly appreciated, but bare in mind I am a bit of a noob when it comes to computers.

I'm pretty sure it isn't to do with the video card - when the game freezes I can't do anything except restart the computer.

BSOD troubleshooting is not the easiest task I must say :). The error message indicates some hardware error.

You need to run bluescreenview to see if it indicates any driver is causing the issue. Then memtest86 to check the memory, and chkdisk to check the disks. Its really a process of elimination.

I suggest you take a peek here http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/

There are many fine guides to troubleshoot BSOD's and competent people to help you there.

Ok, using the program Speccy I have found that the CPU is about 70 degrees when not running a game but rises to about 115 degrees when playing a game. I think the issue may be overheating.
