Hello everyone,
from last few months i am finding my self bored with playing games in pc , i dont know
why but i don"t want to happen that as i love them , but the problem is whichever games i play
didn"t last from more than 20 minutes, as i hate RPGs titles and love fps , so i want ur suggestion that which games will revert back my interest in gaming or any special genre which will do .
thanks.

Also, when was the last time to tried a RPG? There are many different types of RPG's nowadays. We used to be stuck with the turn-based old school final fantasy/Fallout type of RPGs. Now, many RPG's are action/adventure games with such large stories, upgrading and large maps that they become RPGs.

The Witcher 2 is a GREAT game! It will not "feel" like an RPG when you play it. It will feel like a action/adventure movie that gets better and better as you play it.

Why not branch out from the mindless mainstream crap and go for an indie RTS, or TBS game instead? Pretty much every FPS is nearly the same with a few little game play differences. Eventally that gets boring, so having a few solid games that aren't the same formula helps keep the boredom away.

That, or play with Universe Sandbox for a while and see if you can make yourself a huge solar system :)

Here are some games that I've recently put a lot of time into:

Trials Evolution (there's a new trials game out but I haven't played it yet... evolution & HD are great)
Spelunky (levels are always different never the same, daily challenge is really fun)
Dark souls 1 & 2 (both on steam)
Defense Grid (REALLY fun tower defense game, lots of DLC, you can get the original and all the DLC for really cheap on steam)
Farcry 3
Shovel Knight
Rogue Legacy
all Mass Effect games
Saints Row 3 & 4 (4 is on steam and i'm pretty sure 3 is too)

And obviously if you like FPS games:
CS:GO
TF2

Civilization games are a lot of fun (Civ 4 and 5). They've got a pretty high learning curve though... you can't just jump in and start killing sh*t, it takes a little while to get into

Like the guy you were quoting said; branch out from the big-name titles and look into indie games. They're a fraction of the price and for me at least I've got way more enjoyment out of them... some of these I mentioned above:

Spelunky, Defense Grid, Trials (not really indie but still great and not a $60 game), Shovel Knight, Rogue Legacy

Also one of my favorite games of all time is Red Faction Guerilla.... it's probably really cheap on steam right now too

You could try Planetary Annihilation, Stracraft II, Star Ruler 2, or even Sins of a Solar Empire for the RTS games. I haven't played to many turn based ones that I liekd recently... my last one that I still like to this day is M.A.X. but its was from a long time ago. You could try something like the Heroes of Might and Magic, Civilization V, Fallen Enchantress, or Endless Space.

There are tons of other good games too like Mount and Blade: Warband (which is getting a new version being worked on called Bannerlord). Tons of Indie games that are just fantastic. You could look for some more sandbox style games so you can spend much more time just playing around rather than the grind of the FPS round after round on the same map syndrome.

Why not just go over to store.steampowered.com and search through tags for games that look good?

I played a really good turn based strategy game called Child of Light (pretty sure that was the name, can't remember at the moment). Really interesting game with some neat concepts

Deus Ex Human Revolution is one of my favorites. It is a FPS/RPG but the RPG elements are basically your upgrades and if you are going to kill certain people/let them live etc. Tomb Raider is a good one too.

+1 For Saint's Row, pretty hilarious game.

i have bought witcher 2 but many said that without playing witcher 1 i wiould not understand the base of the story so i am waiting to play witcher 2 because i dont have witcher 1. and the last rpg i played was fallout 3 uffff i was like , it was old age game with ancient graphics and after that i was afraid to try any RPGs as of yet.

The Witcher 1's combat system is kind of weird and a lot of people don't like it. I personally played the witcher 2 before 1 and didn't really have any problems understanding the story. All you really need to know is the the guy is a monster hunter and he lost his memory at the start of the 1st one.

If you want a game that's challenging and really addictive, there's dark souls 2.
The witcher 2 is really great.
The first dragon age game is amazing, if you don't mind the slightly dated graphics.
The mass effect series is really nice IMO.
The bioshock series :D
I'm probably stating the obvious, but skyrim? (With lots of mods of course)

Yeah, I never played the Witcher 1, but for the Witcher 2 story, Geralt (main character), lost his memory anyway. So even he doesn't know what happened in the first one. LOL

The game catches you up in the very beginning. It is an awesome "hack n slash" RPG. Also, you have never played a game like Bioshock 1. Completely original, amazing story (with a twist), and smooth awesome gameplay.
