I want to play games on my computer quite often, and the games i have bought are somewhat intense. But i have a computer that should be able to handle it. "Samsung 7 series all in one touch screen"
OS: Windows 8.1
Ram: 6gb
processor: quad core i5
but for some reason my "dedicated ram" to my Intel(R) HD Graphics is only 32mb. I have been told that certain games need at least 512 to work properly, but the total available graphics memory is 1792, 1760 being shared. But my computer exceeds all the other requirements, and the games don't run properly.

also in the bios the graphics/video card is not mentioned anywhere under any menu/sub menu. I also can't upgrade the video card because it is an all in one pc.

What version of HD graphics do you have, what games are you trying to run? The vram requirement for a game is not usually very helpful, you want to look at the reference model gpu for the game and compare your solution to the minimum recommended one.

The minimum Vram requirement is necessary but not sufficient for a game to run properly, is what I'm trying to say.

my adapter string is 2500, things such as TUG, space engineers, skyrim, and minecraft. even minecraft being a seemingly weak game on the computer recommends double what i have.

going off of this hierarchy chart (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-car...), I don't see HD 2500, but I looked at a couple benchmarks and it looks mostly equivalent to the HD 3000. Unfortunately for you, that is an extremely weak graphics solution. the AMD r7 260 is considered a good entry level card right now, and it is over a dozen tiers above the hd 3000 (every 3 tiers is a 50% increase in performance give or take, very broadly speaking).

Since you don't have any upgrade potential, all I can say is maybe lower the resolution? I don't think there is much you can do to straight up improve performance though, maybe someone else knows a trick I don't.

Vram amount is dynamically controlled with what is called dvmt. It "has" more than 32mb but this makes no difference, the gpu being so weak is the issue.
