hey guys thanks for clicking on my new thread.

i would just like to ask some of you guys with alot of experience and/or knowledge to help me out here today

recently my mum decided to let me finally get a gaming pc for my birthday/Christmas, now here's the hard part, i have a £500 budget just for the computer, i don't need a monitor or a os.

i would also appreciate it if you could use a website like pcpartpicker, or just give me the links to the items.

im would be very happy if you could make it a intel build, i dont mind going slightly over like £530

there games id like to play in high settings are;
bf4
farcry
fifa 14
minecraft
cod
crysis
arma/dayz
and some newer games.

id love to see what you guys can come up with, i dont mind going the amd or intel way, witch ever one works best.
-thanks guys. (UK SITES PLEASE)

Solution
The good news is most of those games are well threaded and will work well on either AMD or Intel.

Here's a good AMD budget system with solid parts.

The board will support a CPU upgrade up to an 8 core FX 8350.

If you have a little room in your budget, maybe bump the video card up to an R9 280 instead, since the 970 board will work best with a single high end GPU. If you plan to crossfire or SLI in the future, you will need a more expensive 990FX board.

If just for gaming, put more money into GPU, the CPU is already pretty good, however if going above an Radeon r9 280x, you would need to OC the FX 8320. Overclocking is always a better solution to buying better CPU. Really no point in going overboard with CPU. I have a i7-4770k(pretty overboard) and i still haven't done anything intensive with it. I've had it for a year.

Edit: r9 280x is about 10 percent better than gtx 760 in most games.

thanks man, and i know :(

The R9 280x would make more of a difference than the GTX 760 unless you can afford the GTX 770.
