Hi. Just got a SATA, IDE 3.5 and 2.5 HDD to USB device. Thing is it needs a separate PSU to power it.
I have a few lying around but I need to know how to wire it up so it doesn't have to be connected to a PC case and MB.
Thing is I want to make sure its safe. I think black and green are connected in order for it to power up, but, I want more details on how to do this and what type of wire to use so it doesn't burn out or electrocute me.

Hope it works as advertised. As for my one. No it didn't come with a power supply. Just the device and one SATA lead.
