I just bought a Asus GTX 750ti graphics card and 400w power supply for my computer and it seems that the card does not work. I installed everything correctly and all the fans on the card are going and the little green light is on, but my computer is stuck on the blue HP welcome screen telling me to press ESC to get the start up menu, while my computer does about 4 short beeps within 25 seconds of each other before it just turns off the monitor.(Beep........Beep.......Beep......Beep..BEEP-BEEP-BEEP) I tried putting in my old card and everything runs fine, so that's that I'm guessing it's the new card.
I am extremely new to all of this, I've never built a computer or changed parts in it before. I would appreciate the help and tips!
The card requires 400w power and 2gb system memory.
The model # on my HP Pavilion HPE Series is h8-1110t. the product # is QC455AV#ABA.
