I have a liquid cooled i7-4770k with a h100i and it has trouble running bf3 on low with out freaking out and getting super hot like 85 degree Celsius range. Anything I can do to fix this? Maybe a new cooler? It is seated properly and I am using arctic silver thermal paste as well. So what's going wrong?

Solution
have you mounted your h100i backplate right. some boards need washers inbetween it b/c space, also make sure the little notches on h100i backplate are were they're supposed to be. There is an actual proper position of how the backplate fits, cant remember if the notches have to be on the top side or bottom side or right or left youtube it, make sure u clean paste too with iso alcohol and also make sure to clean it off the heatsink, and never lift the heatsink off when u placed it, little tiny wiggles up and down can screw your mounting up. if that doesn't work try making the fans pull air out you're case.

I can also hear the fan throttling up to deal with the heat but it doesn't keep the CPU from getting too hot. And when I'm saying 80 degrees Celsius I mean like under 50-60% load.

My specs are i7 4770k. Asus Maximus vii hero z97 mobo, corsair vengeance 2x4GB RAM, Asus GTX 780ti, Samsung EVO 120GB SSD, 1 TB WD Caviar Black HDD, h100i liquid cooler. I've tried undervolting and no results. I can hear liquid moving through the tubes. I think the cooler is properly seated. How do I tell?

Just realized you have it running at stock speeds, even the motherboards auto setting shouldn't overvolt then.

I have no experience with AiO water cooling solutions, so you might need to wait for someone more knowledgeable than me to show up.
