I would go with the Corsair because it has a better audio quality, higher watts and lower price than the A5+ :)

Actually price is not as much of a problem as space because my room is only 12 by 12 feet so I want the best possible speakers that will be adequate for my room. Will the corsair sp2500 be enough or too loud for this kind of room.

I think that i will do good, but if we are talking loudness both speakers are really loud :)
The Corsair will suit you pretty good, and has a nice design :)

The Audioengines will have much better quality(in terms of highs and mids) sound but the Cosairs will play louder.

If you wanted to add a sub to the Audioengines that will blow away the Corsairs, check this out. https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-sub-1200-12-120-watt-powered-subwoofer--300-629. If you wanted to go even louder(quality sound wise not as good as the Audioengine), you could pair them up with these. https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-b652-6-1-2-2-way-bookshelf-speaker-pair--300-652

This combo will go very loud and still give decent quality sound. Although you will still need to buy an amp for the 2.0s.

Be seeing you, the Prisoner...

I'm wondering if the sub from audioengine would do fine. Their s8 sub.

I'm sure the s8 sub would be fine but if you're going to pay 350.00 for it. I think you can find better for that price. A speaker that is being discontinued and etc. like this one http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/stf-2.html makes great subs.
