Hello everyone, I had a couple or more questions for you guys. First being about Cpu's. I'll be saving money and building my first gaming pc in the near future (possibly within 4-5 months), and I was wondering what processor I should shoot for. The i7 4790k has been on my radar since its a slight revision of the 4770. I've heard its not a good overclocker maybe? but better on temps. Either way, I also hear there will be another chip coming, so i'd like some thoughts on that.

Second question is a noob one lol, but how exactly do people set up dual monitors (which im going to do). Since i'm only doing one card (780ti) I was wondering if there would be any adapters or something I would need to connect two.

Solution
Wait in 4 or 5 months and see what's out then and what prices will be like. Haswell-E will be out by then, and might change the price landscape of the Haswell and Devils Canyon CPU's a good chunk.

As for dual monitors, graphics cards have multiple outputs which let you use to hook up various monitors.

Not too sure on the cpu, I have a 4770k it's perfect for everything. As for hooking up 2 monitors the card has 2 dvi, a display port, and an hdmi. Just plug your two monitors into different outputs and it's good to go.
