I built my PC at the beginning of July
ASUS Z97-A
i5 4690k
Sapphire 290 Vapor X
8GB Kingston RAM
Corsair HX 750 PSU (750 watts)

This started recently after updating drivers to 14.4 in an attempt to resolve my system's intermittent red screen crashes while running games. I fully uninstalled the drivers including clearing them from the registry and reinstalled and the problem still persists. The system still red screens as well. What can I do?

Solution
Download GPU-Z and check your GPU's temperature. It shouldn't climb over 80C.

Ensure your Graphics Card is firmly and securely seated in its PCIe x16 slot. Reseat the card if necessary. Also ensure the card's power connectors are firmly attached. Cards can creep out of their slots over time due to the silicon expanding and contracting as the card heats and cools.

Ensure video cables are securely attached and that there is no dust or debris on the cables' connectors at either end.
