This is what i'd get.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($214.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($89.66 @ Newegg)
Memory: Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($68.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Dual-X Video Card ($259.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Thermaltake Commander MS-I ID ATX Mid Tower Case ($34.99 @ Micro Center)
Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer ($14.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $778.59

Don't buy AMD processors. They are a poor investment, as the socket is dead and won't recieve any more attention from AMD. Their CPUs are also nearly a half decade out of date.

An Intel CPU gives you a much better upgrade path and better performance as a whole.

I don't think investing in an overclocking system is really worth it, it adds about $100 of more costs and really, the i5-4690 will be able to do anything you want, even with high end graphics cards, for years to come.

Hope that helps! :)

Nice build and good point about the AMD processors. I will definitely consider this one! Thanks! It may soon be the answer! :)

Thanks! The graphics card in there also is pretty insanely powerful (overkill, really) and should do incredibly even in 3 display configurations and stuff.

What monitor are you using? You could easily downgrade to a R9 270X for $100 less and use the same components for the rest of the build, and it would easily get at Ultra settings at over 60 FPS in nearly every game at 1080p. In a dual monitor configuration, it would do well also:

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card ($159.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Thermaltake Commander MS-I ID ATX Mid Tower Case ($34.99 @ Micro Center)
Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ NCIX US)

The $100 savings could pay for Windows too!

All the best!

I have a pretty crappy monitor right now; I am only 12. But when I build it I plan to get a 1080P monitor. Probably 23 inch or so.

Dude, you are supposed to be at least 13. You could get booted by posting your age there.

At 1080P, I would get my cheaper build with the R9 270X instead. A R9 280X would just be overkill. With the extra $100, you could get an overclocking system:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($234.99 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($124.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($68.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($50.40 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card ($177.98 @ Newegg)
Case: Thermaltake Commander MS-I ID ATX Mid Tower Case ($34.99 @ Micro Center)
Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer ($14.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $782.30

or just use the old build, and then you could get Windows.

Your right, probably should not have said that. So this would also be fine? I also like this motherboard better.

Yeah, that's a great build! Mine's essentially the same and actually fits your budget, but getting an overclocking Intel CPU is the best investment for the future you can make. It will last for years and years.
