What is Ubisoft doing to its games?

So maybe all of the ubi series that i know are bad optimizated like fc3 ac4 watch dogs.Sadly am playng their games since ac brotherhood i had some acer aspire laptop back then,didn't know much about gaming and i found the game playable gt 610m and 3 gigs of ram are the thing that i remember it was 2012 laptop so ac3 ran like **** on it i tried ac4 on it 5 fps with fraps lol so i though of new pc acer predator g3620 was the deal made in 2013 gaming pc according to acer's cite so it came i5 3350p 8ram gt 640 1tb hdd but in ac4 the fps was 20on lowest lol such gaming.... watch dogs surprisingly was 30fps(all games that i play res is 1440x900 cause my monitor) so i though of buying gtx 770 all said it was a beast gpu etc etc.. so yeah i bough it with corsair vs 650w and still the f*** games run slow for some reason ac4 high smaa 30-40 fps... watch dogs 40-70 avg 50 on high msaa 2x or temporal smaa fc3 high-ultra 4x aa 40-150 fps avg 90 but sometimes when there are to much ppl and cars it drops to 40 for some reason or explosions so in bf4 all ultra everything msaa 4x even res scale was 125 57-120 fps avg 80 wow now that's a playable game... So my question is why ubi are such tards does they said something about those woes or something is it my gpu that it can't max those games cause imo fc3 graph looks better than bf4,or my cpu is holding back or ubi have't heard about optimizating

Again, I don't know what answer you are looking for. It's a complicated topic and consider that some games start development four years or more prior to the release date so things can change hands, budgets affect things... the entire company can reshuffle and the release date can suddenly shrink forcing unfinished games to release.

Every bad game ends up negatively affecting the company though, so I think there's a lot of work to turn that around.

It's interesting to note that on PC, it's very difficult to code for all the various configurations of hardware we have. This is a major reason why developers asked for MANTLE development. Mantle is not just about improving frame rates; it's about ease of development and reducing...

Yeah i hope you're right cause it will be sad for me that i thrown 500$ on the wind for both gpu and psu.. Oh and also i wanted to know did the other ac series 1,2 bhood revelations far cry 1,2 had the same issue or its since 2012?
 
Um... not sure how to answer your question.

Far Cry 3:
I didn't buy on release, and haven't tried on a wide variety of hardware but it's working quite well for me now. I did have to carefully tweak though and I'm pretty sure it doesn't run that well if your hardware isn't close to recommended.

Watch Dogs:
The game runs VERY WELL... or at least it will once they finally patch the issue with the Video RAM filling up. Unfortunately, this currently kills the game. If you start a game up, then drive around it takes maybe twenty seconds or so to fill a 2GB video card (loads textures) then it starts swapping back to the HDD or SSD which causes major stutter.

Even 3GB video cards get filled up and possibly 4GB it just takes longer.

Other:
Your question is really quite involved so if you want answers start looking up some online articles about UBI. I know in many cases games are released before being finished due to trying to meet a target release date.

I'm also not sure how many games the company owns exhibit major issues. Also, they're hardly the only company. Games like OBLIVION had major issues for years, and Fallout 3/NV still have the major stutter issue (fixable by ifpsclamp=60 provided you don't drop below 60FPS. dual-core fix for FC) but it seems like Bethesda is largely forgiven (aside from the PS3 Skyrim release).

I guess what I'm saying is that it's difficult to say how Ubisoft compares to other companies as modern gaming has gotten very complicated. Hopefully with the new consoles being essentially a desktop PC we'll see far, far better cross-platform titles.

Nah my fault i get onto particulars,am just curious why ubi is such a d*** company is it from these days or since first ac or even their first games.

Never played ac 1 & 2, or fc2, fc1 though is now a legacy game, the story is completely different (on the new graphics engine it would win hands down for story) but i get around 600fps on fc1 now, but still as i said its a legacy game.

I'm not saying Mantle will succeed, but rather that games and hardware have gotten complicated. Factor in some technologically demanding games like BF4 with some innovative features and we get problems. Unfortunately release dates have to be met or else push back the game.

*I think we're seeing a trend towards more polished games. Call of Duty series for example split to THREE game developers I believe to ensure an extra year of development per title. KICKSTARTER is a very cool concept as well. Star Citizen got its funding and the game can be developed with internal control of quality and release dates thus "finish when it's ready."
