Computer constantly turns on and off

My costum build keeps turning on and off. I've tried to run it only with cpu, but it still happens. I've tried it with multiple psu's and it still happens. I've tried reseting the cmos, but it still happens.
It's a gigabyte h81m-ds2 with a pentium g3240.

Please help me.

Yep it's hard at time, folks are stressed, and not always thinking - that's one reason I wrote the Bench Guide, either it will help or they come back and answer the questions we ask of them ;)

I'm sorry but i don't know what do you mean, because i've said that it doens't run only the cpu. The hdd doesn't even have an OS installed, nor is it connected to the motherboard, so I don't know what you want me to tell you.

Just tried it, but the exact same thing happens. It goes on for 1 second, then off, then on again, and so on untill i shut the psu switch off.
Still, thanks for the answer.

Try putting an OS disk like Windows 8 into a CD-ROM or from a flash drive. Maybe it's trying to boot off of something but nothing is there so it shuts off. Try that?

Thanks, but i've done that more than once already. The exact same thing happens even without the cpu, so I think that it's the motherboard that's failing. I'll send it back, and get a new one. Hopefully that'll fix it.
