Win 7 os back up to xp os

I have a Dell Inspiron 3647 computer with win 7 os and want to back up this hd. I have a external hd via usb with win xp pro os that I want to back up on to. Will this work?

Hi, The xp os is from my computer 6 months ago when xp was no longer supported I bought the new 3647 and win 7 installed on it. I bought the hardware to access the files on the old xp os via usb. Now I would like to back up on it if possible. Thanks for your help.

It does not have a partition.

Every computer has at least one partition. Here is what it looks like (on "My Computer" tab):
zzaYuhiNF9F8upypG4bRMHVzTZlcK55YyfLYtDWTv7w=w1048-h671-no

C: is the main OS partition.

In disc management I have a window with
Volume Layout Type File System Status Capacity Free Space ...
(E:) Partition Basic NTFS Healthy 149.05 GB 131.68 GB ...

(C:) is also there but I didn't include it.
