So I was originally shooting for a $500 build, no windows or peripherals included, that consisted of a GTX 750 TI and an FX-6300. However, it is possible that I could get my hands on an older PC (at little to no cost) and I wanted to see if someone here could help me properly update to a similar performance level to the aforementioned build. Right now, I know the specs consist of an Athlon Dual Core Processor clocked at 2.1 GHz and an MSI GeForce 7300LE. 2GB of RAM, and that's really all I know. I know it's a dinosaur but I wanted to see if someone could find me a build similar to the one I mentioned above and see if it would be easier or cheaper to update this build rather than building an entirely new one. The only parts that might be reusable are the PSU, HDD, DVD (if installed) and case. If you get the whole thing for free and those components are salvageable, you might save ~$100.
