Most people won't tell you Turtle Beach headsets are good, and I won't tell you to buy them or not to buy them, but I will just say my x12s have lasted me for about 2 and a half years and they're amazing. I have also owned p11s, and x11s. X41s are good too.

Any reasons why Turtle Beach is considered bad?

I'm not sure. In my personal experience turtle beach has been great for it's price.

Ok so what's a good model for like 70 or 80 dollars? Mind you I don't have a sound card

I think the best bet for you, since its wireless would be this one http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/recertified-h... The Px3. Honestly tutlebeaches are alright headsets, but past 60 bucks theres better options. I would maybe say get a little more money and get a pair of astro a40's or a logitech G35 or G930. Or something similar. They offer better sound, better mics, better quality most of all, and better surround.

If you want wired, I say go x12s or x42s (i think they're called)

The X42s are wireless, I would prefer wired since the quality is apparently better and no batteries

Then go X12 if you want wired. I love mine.

Wireless is fine, but yeah, i also prefer wired.
