I just recently finished building my first custom PC, and i was having a bit of a problem with the monitor. (The monitor is a Hanns-G Hi221d) After i'd turn on the pc and the monitor, I would get a brief picture before the display vanished. I knew that the monitor was receiving the picture signal from my computer, because when I turned the monitor off and then back on again, i'd see the home screen for about a second before it went black. I'm pretty sure the monitor's failing, because when i pulled out the DVI cable, the monitor would work for a second before going black. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks guys, i really appreciate it.
