Hi, i'm wanting to connect to my computer at home, from my laptop when i'm at college. Could someone tell me what sort of program i would be wanting to get for this, preferably one that will most likely not be blocked by the college IT.

Both computers are running Windows 7, the computer i am wanting to connect to us running Win7 Ultimate 64, and the laptop i want to use to connect is running Win7 Pro 64. Both computers will have an internet connection.

(harder) Using only MS tools: Enable remote desktop on your home PC, then configure your router to forward to port 3389. YOu might also set-up DDNS so that you can call your home PC by name (otherwise you somehow must know it's IP address). On your laptop, use Remote Desktop client.

(easier) Using http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx" target="_blank">TeamViewer[/ru]: Install it on your home PC, choosing option to connect to it always. Install (or run) it on your laptop.
