antivirus windows 8.1

i am looking for an antivirus i was going to use Microsoft security essentials but was wondering if thats the best for my as i dabble in torrenting from time to time if i need something else i only need 1 license for the software

As long as you dont torrent like a tard and actually pay attention to what your getting security essentials should be enough. You can also go with Avast, or the free version of malware bytes but idk if its supported on 8.1

I would recommend Bitdefender free or Avast free.

Also, they work well for virus's, but malware is a whole other story.

I would try Malwarebytes for that side of things. The premium for $24/year is definitely worth it.
