Even with same exact model - there's no guarantee The chips used, the PCB used, the solder used today....may not be the same as what they use the next day (different production lots)...Even right off the line, might grab 10 consecutive sticks and only find a single set of 4 that will play nice...
You can try it, but you're likely to run into issues. If it does work, your speed will be equal to your slowest stick. You're better off buying a four stick set.
