I have an Asus X79 Deluxe ATX LGA2011 motherboard and I'm trying to make it work with 64 GB of DDR3-1600MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM. Unfortunately, when I plug all the RAM in, it only acknowledges 48GB of RAM and shows the last two DIMM's (DIMM_C1 and DIM_C2) as "Abnormal". It also shows the RAM operating at 1333MHz instead of the stated 1600MHz.

I've tried switching around the RAM sticks and it still shows C1 and C2 as abnormal, so it's not the sticks. I've also tried to boost power to the DIMM slots up ot 1.55Vwith no results. Thoughts?

You like the gold too on your asus boards?:D

Have you checked whether your memory fits on the qualified vendors list?

By the way, this is from the official site:
"* Due to CPU behavior, DDR3 2200/2000/1800 MHz memory module will run at DDR3 2133/1866/1600 MHz frequency as default."

I think you might need to do some poking around the BIOS, its not detecting your memory properly, I think its a little twitchy because of the aforementioned feature.
