I was interested in overclocking my Radeon 7770 GHz Edition and had a few questions.

  • Does overclocking have any significant increase in FPS in games and all-around performance?
  • What settings should I use in CCC for GPU Clock Settings, memory clock settings, and power settings?
  • Should I use something other than CCC to overclock with?

  • Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

i find that overclocking helps in games that are really lagging behind, but i would treat overclocking a GPU the same way as a CPU..

use MSI afterburner and raise the multiplier a little, then do stress testing so that you know you will not BSOD. Keep on overclocking until you BSOD... if you do then raise the voltage....

also make sure you have good case ventilation.

Best is that never ever overClock. Not so big change on fps. If u want then u should have have good or high cooling system. What ever there is a settings in amd control-center. Go there u will find it. but u can't specifically set the memory clock etc. etc. of your own choice.
