I've had my hand at putting together a few components, tried to make it as refined as a newbie to building computers can. Tell me if it's good or not. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/znYC4D Budget is 900$
Few Questions: Will you OC? Why only Newegg and Amazon?
Not planning to overclock at all. I just find it easier to buy from one website instead of four or five different ones, which might not be the most economical solution, but it works for me.
I'm really new at building computers, this is my first build, whats the difference between the processor I chose and the processor that Alpha chose? Is the difference noticeable?
You chose a k version which is for over clocking and the price difference. non k versions are cheap thats about it
You guys have already helped me a lot, thanks by the way, I have one LAST question. Whats the difference between the motherboards that I chose and that Alpha chose?
H-97 is a upgraded version from the one you chose. i just realized that the both the h87 and h97 are for OC so you can upgrade if you would like in the future

What would you suggest if I were to get a different motherboard? Also kind of an off question but, the graphics card is a lil' bit too big to fit in the case without taking out drive bays. Would I just be able to take them out with a philips head?
I saved a bit of money by setting Newegg and Amazon (since you were going to purchase the ethernet cable there anyway) as the only merchants in the right sidebar
This allowed me to choose a better PSU (EVGA SuperNova), a faster GPU (R9 280X) and a SSD (the MX100, which is slightly slower than the 840 EVO but cheaper)
