Also, make sure that board can OC the G3258.

There are a couple of H81 boards that have been unlocked to allow the G3258 to OC on them, but most are still locked, requiring you to use a Z97 board instead.

Edit: After a quick bit of research, it appears that ASUS has announced that all of their H81, H87, H97 and B85 boards allow the Pentium to be overclocked.

Well, I'll type it out.

Gigabyte r7 260x 1gb

Intel Pentium G 3258 unlocked (this will be very oc'd)

The CPU, when oc'd enough, will hit ~i3 4430 levels. That's totally fine considering the budget.

My main worry was that this board wouldn't support over clocking with the Pentium, which I now know it does.

I thought the r7 260x and 750 ti were pretty much on par, also.
