hi, before anyone asks, yes..i read all the sticky's i still cannot fix my problem. I boot my pc, although it runs, there's no signal on the monitor..can someone please help? anyone had a similar experience? could the issue be with the graphics card? it's fully installed inside and the fan on it spins so that couldn't be the problem. can someone help me with the cable management.

i attached the VGA cable to the blue slot next to the white one. Is this all i need to do(aside from power cable,mouse/keyboard/speaker? i read on my graphics card manual that i should attach a hdmi cable to the video card slot which is on the bottom of the picture if you look closely, could this be the problem? if so how does a hdmi cable attach?

What are the complete system specs? What exactly happens when you try to turn the system on? You need to plug your monitor into the GPU connectors at the very bottom of the picture, not the motherboard outputs on the motherboard panel. The troubleshooting checklist you read was created for this exact type of problem. Did you perform EVERY step in the checklist?

even when i put it into the bottom it still no signal. When i boot my pc it turns on perfectly, all fans working, but no signal on monitor im really confused :S, yes i followed the sticky i promise, it's still no luck. i think the problem is with the cabling, do i have to attach a hdmi if i already have a vga?

No, you can use VGA. Did you try removing the GPU and using the onboard video outputs without the GPU installed (step #22 in the checklist)? Are you getting any beep codes? Is there any change when you attempt to boot with each stick of RAM installed by itself?

Yes to the first question, no to the second, but i'm not receiving any beeps because i dont have the cable for the speaker to attach on the motherboard, but im pretty sure my mobo has inbuilt speaker its asus b85m-g, can't i use earphones or attach my own speakers to the back outputs? no changes when i use one ram stick

The system speaker is separate from the normal sound output. You can't hear the system beeps with headphones or normal speakers. You have to attach a small system speaker directly to the header on the motherboard to hear the beep codes. I still don't see your system specs listed anywhere...

What cables you need to attach depends on your system and what you have connected to it. I can't tell you exactly what to plug in. Your motherboard owners manual is a valuable resource, though.

Make sure in the motherboard owners manual that you're using the right RAM slots. If you are, you can run Memtest86+ on each stick of RAM to see if either of them come back with errors and go from there.
