Hello!
This is my current build:

Is there any way I would be able to save money on this? Note that I will not change my GPU or CPU. Thank you!

Why are you getting an CPU which has been replaced with a newer and better one? Same with the motherboard?

What would the new version of the motherboard be, the VII? Also, I do not think my current motherboard has a Z97 like the i5-4690k requires.

Get a z97 motherboard and the i5 4690k.

You can get a cheaper motherboard. What makes you think you need basically the most expensive one?

Fair enough. I did decide to upgrade to the VII Hero, which is a Z97, but what motherboard would you recommend that I use?
Also, I'd like the motherboard to have a black/red color scheme to go with my GPU.

Unless you pan to do MAXIMUM overclocking (need WAY more than a CM 212 EVO) I strongly recommend changing to a board which is not 10000% overkill and putting the money towards a better quality PSU. Don't let the Gold rating fool you, that unit is only average. An Antec, XFX, Seasonic would be idea.

This is a great black/red board for your build.
