If your budget is under 700, you can build a computer that can barely beat ps4 graphics. I would get the ps4. The graphics of infamous second son have totally blown me away. And Im a guy that plays all his games on ultra settings on pc.

You should decide what type of games you prefer. Moba, and MMOs are almost exclusive to the the PC. Consoles tend to get single player adventure, JRPGs, fighters. Shooters and many Indie titles tend to exsist on both so they're not such a big deal.

Personally I prefer PC's. Games tend to be cheaper if you wait for the steam sales, plus you can use your collection practically forever without worrying about backward compatibility.

It`s up to your budget, it`s up to you, and it depends if you already have a PC or not.
I would choose a PC every day of the week, because it`s a lot more versatile.
But if you already have a PC for everything that isn`t gaming, and don`t mind playing on a console and having the limitations that it has, you can just go for the console.

To build a dedicated gaming PC that's on par with the PS4, in USD, would cost a bit over $800 at this point in time. If all you want to do is play games, assuming the games you want to play are on both machines, I would go with the PS4. The games will only get better and better on the PS4 but the advantage gaming/gaming-capable PCs have over the PS4 is full backwards compatibility and cheaper games.
