Introduction: (skip to the 2nd paragraph for my question) I am looking to build a computer, and have done my research on building a desktop spread across around 6 months or so. My MacBook (yeah, yeah, bleh, ew macs) has passed 5 years of age, and I'm ready to graduate to a Windows desktop. I mainly play CS:GO, TF2 and Minecraft, occasionally LoL. I'm tired of running 30 frames on low settings on those games.

I have decided to pick between an i3 4130 and 7850k for the processor. If I choose the 4130, I will get a GPU later. If I stick with the 7850k, I will get nothing else for the time being. I understand that an i3+GPU and the Kaveri are in different price ranges, but I want a (somewhat) powerful processor as my younger brother plays minecraft, and he will benefit from the processor. I have been suggested a G2330 + r7 250x combo, but I really prefer the processor. I know it won't be balanced. But what would you go with?

If possible, it'd be great for someone to suggest a complete build around ~$500 or so with OS, with or without my preferences. I want to be able to play games listed above 1080p, 30+ frames at low settings.

(If anyone is curious, my mac specs:
-Intel Core Duo 2.53 GHz
-Nvidia 9400m 256MB
-4GB 1066MHz
-250GB 5400RPM drive)

This is my first Tom's Hardware post. Please give me as much constructive criticism as possible. Every bit of info is appreciated.

You gotta get the amd A10. Its a much superior processor. I3's are being phased out quickly with the new workloads we are throwing at our pcs. Get an A10, get a nice heatsink for 30$ and you have a system for 5+ years.
