Alright, so yesterday I bought the MSI R9 270X GPU and installed it. I was using onboard video, so it automatically registered the GPU after I connected it, there was no need to mess around in BIOS. However, when today I wanted to change other settings, I saw a huge mess, namely this:

I can see those pixels if I hover with my cursor.
This was not the case while i was using the onboard video. How do I fix this?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PS: I'm connecting thru HDMI.

Video outputs like this often suggest a bad card, but you can only be sure if you test it in another computer.

It performs very well if I just boot to the desktop. I get decent framerates while playing games like BF4 on ultra.

So, this happens only in BIOS and nowhere else?

Strange thing. The card is OK then. Looks like your BIOS is in a need of an update. This could fix it, try and see.

OK apparently this happens when I connect HDMI, DVI/VGA seems to be fine. What's causing this?

It could be either your card (not necessarily faulty) or your mobo's BIOS. If you can, try this card in another computer, also using HDMI.
