I used to be a xbox fan boy but i was tired of playing fps games on it so I recently bought core 2 quad 3.0 with 4 gb RAM with 350gb HDD.
Now i need to get a GPU.
This is the first time i am making a pc
Suggest me a good gpu that is not going to bottleneck my cpu.
and i got a 300 w Dany Psu
PS: i dont want to play game at max settings. Just normal settings and i got 720p resolution.I was thinking of an HD 7770? And please dont suggest me to buy a new processor ^_^ Thanks in advance.

On a 300W PSU, the strongest card you can get is a GTX750Ti.
GTX750Ti > GTX750 > HD7750 > R7 250 > R7 240. None of them should require a PCIe power cable.

Core 2 Quad is actually quite good, even in today's games. I would suggest Nvidia GTX 750Ti. If that's too much for you, cheaper is GTX 750 (without Ti). The lowest I'd go is Radeon R7 250. All of these cards will work, and they use small amounts of power.

If they do not require additional power that means i dont need to use a PSU ?

What if i use a gpu without using PSU?
That means graphic card wont run?

Of course your system needs a PSU; it means you won't need to upgrade the one you have. Most gaming graphics cards (including some weaker than the GTX750Ti) require at least one 6-pin PCIe power cable. Your 300W PSU won't have one of these.

That only means that the graphics card gets all the power it needs purely from the slot on the motherboard - and no additional cables are required like on more power-hungry cards. This stressess your PSU less, and therefore you don't need more powerful PSU.
