So, I've got the AMD HD Radeon 6700 and haven't been able to use the anti-aliasing feature in any game at all despite the fact that it's turned on it the Catalyst Control Centre. I tried to fix this issue by factory restoring my PC and then subsequently updating my graphics drivers and installing all Windows updates, however, the problem still stands that I can't get it to work. So, my question is how do I fix this? I'd really like this problem fixed, therefore any help would be well appreciated.

System:

Windows 7 64-bit
AMD Radeon HD 6700
8GB DDR3
Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz

Edit: I've tried playing around with some of the AA options in the CCC (overriding application settings), however, none of these seem to work either. Regardless the filtering options, when I check in-game AA still isn't operational. It seems I'm missing something either major or minor. A succinct and well informed reply would really be helpful.

You do turn it on in-game, right?
It`s not enough to turn it on in Catalyst Control Centre.

Yes, it's turned on in-game too, however, it doesn't work.

Tell me exactly how you can tell it's not turned on?

Well, for all I'm aware, it is turned on but not functioning. I know it's not turned on because in-game textures still appear aliased despite attempting to use CCC to override application settings to enable it. Regardless what settings I apply to any game, characters (etc) still appear aliased.

To check the functionality of my AA I'm playing Dota 2, and it's recognizable enough with it disabled (despite the fact I've got it 'enabled'!)
