please help! I broke something and im not sure what it is

I have an MSI B45 G43 motherboard and in i5 4670, I have just installed cooling for the CPU but I have broken something and I need to know what needs to be done or replaced. When I turned on the PC after installing the new cooling it would turn on for a few seconds then shut off and continue to do that, at first I thought I damaged the CPU or the pins on the motherboard but after going back and looking everything looks fine, I have put the CPU back in and put the stock cooling back on, now it will boot up to an into BIOS but as soon as it tries to go further and I expect the message; No boot device found, I am getting a message that says; EFI Shell version 2.31 [4.654]
Current running mode 1.1.2
map: Cannot find required map name.

If anyone can tell me if this is the motherboard or the CPU or both and if it can be fixed or if something needs to be replaced and how or what that would help out a lot

Unless you can provide a picture of the thing you broke or explain very precisely what it is, noone can tell what needs to be done or replaced. It could be a dozen of things. And maybe even nothing.

First thing I would do, however, is try clearing CMOS. Either by pulling out the battery for a minute, or by using a jumper next to it.

yea it's all good now I did just that a while ago and it's all running fine with the new cooling system

lol I'm not a complete fool of course I did that, the cooling system is a Noctua NH-C12P SE12, it's all running good now I fixed the issue
