Help choosing PSU upgrade

Hi all,

Went on the forums a while back and was assured that my 8350/R9 290 were fine on a 600w PSU but to upgrade when possible. This time has arrived.

If you could recommend a good PSU that would be compatible with my build below I would really appreciate it, I've also linked a few at the bottom that I thought looked good :)

The xfx is your best choice.

The best out of the bunch is XFX Core 750W, followe closely by EVGA. Corsair CX series is nowhere near in terms of quality of their capacitors.

I have the CORE 750 and it is excellent however you might want to consider getting the CORE 850 if you might purchase another 290 in the future to crossfire

Thanks for all your input :) 

I'm tempted by the XFX as everyone has suggested, but I wouldn't mind a semi modular PSU...
(I also read about EVGA PSUs frying systems... Unlucky or common?)

Not all evgas are great. Same goes for corsairs. Depends on the exact model. The model above is a great one.

EVGA B2 , G2 , P2 , T2 are all super quality supplies , I have the EVGA P2 1000 WATT here it is.

I am waiting on my EVGA 750 B2 in the mail as well. Just remember to register for the 5 year warranty within 30 days.
